GREECE AND THE ROMAN EMPIRE

The collection of ancient marble sculpture is on an international scale, and covers the period from c. 600 BC to AD 500. It owes its creation Carl Jacobsen’s interest in the representation of the human body, which found its finest expression in the sculpture of Antiquity. All facets of the history of sculpture can be experienced here. Central to this story is the human form.

Children under 18 years: free admission
Groups (10 people or more): DKK 50 (EUR 7)per person
Sundays: free admission
Season ticket (one year): DKK 200 (EUR 27)

Monday closed
